Social Media Drive-in Workshop
June 20, 2018
10 am - 1 pm
On the campus of Baldwin Wallace University

Harnessing the benefits of social media enables colleges and universities to connect with the public in the same manner as major global brands. Managing the pitfalls can present special challenges in higher education because of the evolving nature of platforms and the budget required for proper evaluation. Join your colleagues from independent colleges across Ohio as we explore the opportunities and potential threats of social media.

This session will prepare attendees to develop a new strategic approach to social media or refine an existing strategy to help ensure that your efforts have measurable purpose. We’ll discuss which tools might work best for your needs (from education to fundraising to event attendance and more) as well as how to manage social media efficiently -- instead of letting it manage you.

Join keynote speaker Tim Marshall and a panel of peers from AICUO-member campuses to explore:

  • Student Preferences in Social Media
  • Acting on Analytics
  • Student Takeovers
  • Mapping Social Media to Strategic Plan Goals
  • Ad Hoc Boosting
  • Toolkit Resources for Social Media Success

Registration is $30 per person. Registration for a group of 3 or more from one campus is only $25 per person.
